This week (Monday till' Friday) important designers gather in one place to make all the women around the world happy. And this place is called Paris. Fashion and celebrities all over the place... oh-la-la, who doesn't love Paris?
So my beautiful darlings welcome to PARIS FASHION WEEK. Yayy!!
Are you ready to see the Haute-Couture magic? Here we go:
1.VERSACE
"I looked at the black-and-white photos of Man Ray and Horst from the thirties, and I wanted to make a twenty-first-century version of that precision and perfection" said Donatella Versace. I really liked Donatella's dark, stylish, full of sex-appeal collection. Somehow, it highlights the strong woman full of mystery.
2. CHRISTIAN DIOR
Dior's Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection by Raf Simons was divided in four section: gray tweed tailoring symbolizing France; clean-cut coats and sporty scarves for America; spiky 3-D Japanese fabrics for Asia; and Masai-inspired drapes and tribal beading for Africa. I liked Dior's collection but honestly, it didn't impress me too much.
3. GIAMBATTISTA VALLI
Giambattista Valli was thinking of "porcelain goddesses" for his appropriately fragile and delicate huate couture show. I, for one, love Valli's collection. I think it gives you a certain state of happines.
4. CHANEL
"The old world stepping into the new " as Karl Lagerfeld's muse Amanda Harlech explained, which translated into clothes that married the superb haute couture craftsmanship of Chanel's storied ateliers and the craftspeople who work with them, with Lagerfeld's modernist of textile inovation. I think Lagerfeld's idea was interesting and the collection turned up to be pretty amazing as well.
5. ARMANI PRIVE
Armani's show delivered something wholly opposite from what we expected from Giorgio Armani. Softness, sensivity, delicacy, romance - this describes Armani's Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection. Lovely dresses delighted our view, and it made me fell in love with this collection. I think Giorgio Armani has outdone himself. His collection is so far my favourite from Paris Fashion Week 2013.
That was all for now, but I will be back soon, because Paris Fashion Week isn't over yet, Gosh I wish every week would be Fashion Week.
Until next
time … I’m watching you
xoxo
