So like I said I'm back with more from PFW. Now that one of the most exciting shows in the world of fashion has come to an end, we can only wait till the next fashion week will start. And that would be the New York Fashion Week starting at the beginning of February.
So until then, let's enjoy the last creations from the second half of the Paris Fashion Week Haute-Couture Spring / Summer 2014:
1. ELIE SAAB
Elie Saab has never dissapointed with his haute-couture collections. The sparkle and Saab's pastel colours - lilac, blush pink and hydrangea blue made out of his collection a magical one. I am seriously hypnotized by all this beauty. I got one word to describe this Elie Saab's Spring / Summer collection - MAGNIFIQUE!
2. JEAN PAUL GAULTIER
Jean Paul Gaultier enchanted us once again with his inventive technique. "Life is a butterfly! So all the collection is that!" explained Jean Paul Gaultier. So he used the single idea of these beautiful winged creatures to create the whole collection. Playfull and sexy, that's how I describe his haute-couture collection.
3. YIQING YIN
Yiqing Yin's collection was a nocturnal-inspired haute-couture collection, warpped up in gray fabric evoking dusty insects being rather different than Gaultier's butterfly.
4. VALENTINO
Valentino's collection it's a tribute to today's women, but it also represents the world of Italian Opera. The haute-couture collection tells a story, a story of a journey from the Earth to the Sky; in which Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo describe a dream, that remembers of paradise. Beautiful, very beautiful!
Pastel colours and a few gold touches combined with lots and lots of lace are the main features of Zuhair Murad's haute-couture collection. Princess-like gowns, corolla skirts and bustier adorned with fabric flowers blossom and feather details made out of this Spring / Summer collection a fairytale.
6. RALPH & RUSSO
Showing for the first time on the parisian runways, Ralph & Russo went for forties and fifties glamour. With already a high-profile client list, London-based Ralph & Russo created a quite delightful haute-couture Spring / Summer collection.
Well, sweethearts that was all for now. PFW has come to an end. And we've once again witnessed the greatness of these designers' brilliant minds. They literally don't miss any chance to amaze us.
Until next time … I’m watching you
xoxo
