Sooo, even though there haven't been too many big events worth talking about, there's still the 'Awards Season', and now we finally have something to talk about . Last night all actors and other celebrities gathered -guess where- in London. To be more precise, they gathered at the Royal Opera House to attend the so called "British Academy Awards" or... BAFTAs.
Is it just me, or London was over capacity with events lately? So there's the London Fashion Week going on, then last night lots of famous faces were present at the 67th British Academy Film Awards, and now the British stars are preparing for the 'Brits'. London is the centre of the world right now.
Unfortunately, despite my wishes for a little more action in the awards shows department, BAFTAs were quite... dull. Nothing, but nothing interesting happened. Just, you know, the celebrities came, they posed on the red carpet, then the winners got their award and then they went to have dinner together. Boooooring...
But nevermind that, let's see who was on the red carpet:
Oh, and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge was there, accompanied by Amanda Berry, Chief Executive of Bafta:
The most notable winners were:
~12 Years a Slave
~ Gravity
~ Chiwetel Ejiofor
~ Cate Blanchett
~ Jennifer Lawrence
~ American Hustle
~ The Great Gatsby
So that was pretty much all from the BAFTAs. Like I said, it was kinda boring. Of course it wasn't boring for the stars, especially the ones that won... but what can I say.. "where's Taylor Swift when you need her for a lil bit of drama?"
Until next time … I’m watching you
xoxo
