Our favourite show of the year - THE OSCARS 2014

Hello darlings,
Well here we are, spring is upon us and the Awards Season had come to an end. Yes that is true, the 2014 Awards Season ended last night with THE OSCARS, of course.
So, as you probably already know, last night the most amazing actors and actresses gathered at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood for the 86th Academy Awards.
Now... the show was hosted by the amazing and the incomparable Ellen DeGeneres:

She is like one of the most awesome human beings. Ellen opened the show with one hell of a speech: "For those of you watching around the world, it's been a tough couple of days for us here. It's been raining. We're fine. Thank you for your prayers.", she also made fun of Jennifer Lawrence and her fall from last year:

She ordered pizza for everyone and then made people pay for it (she picked up cash in Pharrell's hat):

And the most important thing, she took like the most freakin' MEGA-SUPER-AWESOME selfie ever with a bunch of A-listers. Oh, and then she crashed Twitter with her selfie. So like I said, she's incredible.

The big winners of the night were:
~ Best Picture - 12 Years a Slave
~ Best Director - Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity)
~ Best Actor - Matthew McConaughey
~ Best Actress - Cate Blanchett
~ Best Supporting Actor - Jared Leto
~ Best Supporting Actress - Lupita Nyong'o

And the glamorous stars walked down the red-carpet looking more dashing than ever. Here are a few photos:

Oh, and remember how Jennifer Lawrence fell last year and everyone made a huge buzz about it ?... Well, this year she fell again. Only this time she fell on the red carpet and not on the stage (what were the chances?):

Now, back to what happened on the stage. Pharrell got everyone dancing with his performance of "Happy":

So that was pretty much all what happened last night at the Oscars. And here we are, another Awards Season has ended and Leonardo DiCaprio still hasn't won an Oscar. Next time Leo, next time!
