iHeartRadio Awards or something like that...

Hello darlings,
Well, if last week I told you about Radio Disney Music Awards, now I'm back with another "no name" awards show. I don't mean to be rude but who da fuck cares about these shows? Obviously the singers that get those shinny trophies, but is it just me or when it comes to the music industry the awards shows aren't taken that seriously? I mean the film industry has the Golden Globe Awards, Critics' Choice Movie Awards, the SAG Awards, the BAFTAs, the freakin' OSCARS.. but the music industry, besides the Grammys and a couple of MTV Awards Shows, hasn't got anything too serious. Right?
Well, nevermind this. I'm zen, I'm zen, breathe in, breathe out. Gooood.

So last night, at The Shrine Auditorium in L.A., a bunch of singers gathered to attend the iHeartRadio Music Awards. The highlights of the evening were:

• Usher paid tribute to the legend, Michael Jackson, on the bits of Michael's new single, "Love Never Felt So Good":

• Rihanna won the evening's first award for Hip-Hop/R&B Song of the Year with "Pour it Up" but presenter Pitbull had to accept it for her, because she was.... stuck in traffic. Anyway she had the opportunity to thank her fans when she won Best Fan Army award:

• Pitbull performed "Wild Wild Love" and "Timber" on a boat in the middle of the stage:

• British band Bastille rocked the stage with "Pompeii":

• Also, here is Jared Leto of 30 Seconds To Mars performing "City of Angels":

So yeah, basically that's what happened last night at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Oh, and because I can't help myself, here's a photo with Jared Leto and Billy Ray Cyrus. Billy Ray Cyrus, the father of the famous Miley Cyrus.... Yeahh, anyone remember those rumors about Miley hooking up with Jared? I don't know why, but the only word I can think of is "awkwaaaaard", but apparently these two have no problem with that. Why would they? After all it's not like it was true, right? Right? Right?
