So we found ourselves back in the middle of Fashion Week mania. New York and London FW already happened and now it's time for Milan and Paris. Ahh, who doesn't love September?... Fall fashion it's the best with its fluffy jumpers, oversized scarves, classy ankle boots and stylish coats. Who doesn't love that? And the weather it's great too, not too cold to freeze, but not hot either, just perfect for a good cup of coffee and a pumpkin pie, right? Well, while we are dreaming about that perfect cappuccino and are waiting for "El Grande" Paris Fashion Week to happen, I figured we should analyse the highlights of NYFW and LFW and see what have the designers prepared for next spring , right? Here we go:
1. New York Fashion Week
JASON WU
MONIQUE LHUILLIER
LACOSTE
HERVE LEGER by Max Azria
DIANE VON FURSTENBERG
BADGLEY MISCHKA
VERA WANG
OSCAR DE LA RENTA
RALPH LAUREN
MARC JACOBS
2. London Fashion Week
FELDER FELDER
JULIEN MACDONALD
MARCHESA
MULBERRY
TOPSHOP UNIQUE
VIVIENNE WESTWOOD
MARY KATRANTZOU
BURBERRY PRORSUM
GILES
TOM FORD
Ok, so here it ends the first half of the BIG 4. But Milan Fashion Week has already started yesterday, so I will be back soon.
Talking about NY and London, my personal favourites for Spring / Summer season were Badgley Mischka, Oscar de la Renta (obv.) and Mulberry. Unfortunately there were some "big names" from the industry whose creations didn't quite impressed me (maybe I have too high expectations... I don't really know) and I won't lie that they were a little bit of a disappointment, but I'm in a good mood and I won't write their names.
Anyway that was all from New York and London this season,
