Celebrities are invading the south of France

Bonjour mon chéris,
So.... you know how usually California is where all the important events take place and where stars are attending all sorts of shows? Well, for 10 days, la crème de là crème of the movie industry is gonna be in France, more precise in CANNES! Y'all familiar with what Cannes Festival is, right? Well if you don't, the Cannes International Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Cannes, obviously, where loads of actors attend movie premiers, go to crazy parties and have fun.
This year's festival kicked off on the 14th and will end on the 25th of May, having all sorts of stars gathering on French soil. So as the celebs are having fun in the French Riviera and are trying on their skills to "à parler français", we are gonna see who wowed on the red carpet and at those fancy parties. So far, Blake Lively is winning the red carpet  with 3 jaw-dropping appearances.
Here we go:

These were some of the celebs that came all the way from the other side of the ocean to attend the most glamorous film festival in the world. I'll be back with more soon, but for now, I'm saying: Au revoir!

Until next time ... I'm watching you
xoxo

Met Gala 2014 - no event that can compare

Hello darlings,
Do you know what happened last night? Well, if you don't know, I'm gonna tell you: THE MET GALA happened. Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala taking place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. And it's one of my fav events of the year (this and the Oscars... - I can't really choose) Anyway, it's not only my favourite, it's also the celebrities' favourite; since they are always coming in a big number to attend the event. I mean, it is after all the most exclusive social event from New York, it is the "Night of Nights" in fashion industry. This year's exhibit's theme is "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" and if you were wondering who's the mastermind behind the event, that would be - the remarcable Anna Wintour.
So, that been said, let's see what the stars have worn on the red carpet:

Why so yellow? Katie Holmes you are stunning, but you also look like a banana, so I'm gonna say you are a stunning banana. I get that you wanted to look like Disney Princess Belle, but this Marchesa dress might've been too much. Next time, don't let Suri pick your dress, ok? Well, banana or no banana you're still a gorgeous lady.

Uhmm, Rita, what sort of shoes are you wearing? And what's with that bandage on your arm?... Your Donna Karan gown is absolutely gorge, but why would you ruin the outfit with those shoes and that "accessory" on your hand that I still have no idea what is meant for. Maybe next time you'll do better. And also, maybe next time you won't show everyone your underwear. Good luck!

Last night, Sarah Jessica Parker was the absolute diva! She wore an exquisite Oscar de la Renta gown, fit for the real-life Carrie Bradshaw. Even though I'm not really sure regarding those gloves, I'll say this: SJP sure knows how to make a grand entrance.

Remember "that" dress Kim Kardashian wore last year to the Met Gala? Well, this time, I have to say: "Good job, Kim! It is not the perfect dress for you, but is definitely a big improvement since last time." Kim wore a Lanvin dress, and it made me to almost like their appearance. Anyway I'm looking forward to their wedding.

And here you have the rest of the stars on the red carpet:

Well, that was pretty much all from NYC.
As you can see, this year's Met Gala was studded by celebrities. And as to every event, of course, there were celebrities that chose wisely their outfits, and celebs that kinda failed. Anyway, my personal favourites are Suki Waterhouse, Blake Lively, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba and Leighton Meester.

Until next time ... I'm watching you
xoxo
